The location of the hotel is fantastic with it being very central - right by the river and just a short distance from the RSC, all the sights of Stratford-upon-Avon, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, as well as great dining options like the restaurant and bar. Plus, Bancroft Gardens is only a few meters away creating a convenient and picturesque setting for guests to enjoy. the Club King room provided a comfortable and restful night's sleep, especially with the luxurious addition of a bath.

It seems like everything was nice, I would recommend it. The breakfast is amazing and absolutely superb, and the location is WONDERFUL so close to the centre of Stratford and the theatre, a restaurant and pub, and the many outlets in the town which are better and much cheaper. Amazingly nice staff members are on the reception desk.

Views are very limited.

It's spotless hotel nestled in an original style building in the very very nice area. The continental breakfast with cereals, yogurt, and cheese is a lovely touch...

The hotel offers exceptionally comfortable accommodation in a wonderful setting near the river. It's only a 5-minute walk to the town and the restaurant staff are immensely pleasant and incredibly nice. the service provided by the hotel restaurant staff is great.

The location was stunning opposite the theater.

We enjoyed our stay in a club king room with a delicious breakfast in a centrally located place close to an award-winning museum nearby.

I enjoyed a wonderful stay for more than one night. the breakfast was marvelous with quality produce. - the staff were immensely pleasant. - the location was marvelous and good, close to a river and a hill. - the bus stop was 200 meters away. - Everything was nice; I would recommend.

Fabulous, clean place with exceptional staff on the reception desk. Pleasant and exceptional location, within walking distance of St Peter. Efficient check-in, late check-out. Main bar and good pool.

This place is conveniently located near the Attic Theatre and offers a fantastic breakfast selection at a reasonable price.

Amazing location, super close to the town center, shops, and Cotswolds. 🌳 Easy to get around and just a stone's throw away from Cox's Yard, which was on our must-see list.

Very busy for the size of the hotel with a constant stream of coach parties/private diners and people using the hotel bar (now a franchised pub - but of good quality), which did nothing to promote a peaceful atmosphere or restful break while we were there. The French bistro (part of a chain) also appeared to be maxing out the profit potential from non-residents but then I suppose that's what Stratford is all about..... Also have to endorse comments on other websites about the generally shabby state of the fixtures and fittings: peeling paint on fire doors and rotting window sills to most of the rooms do nothing to support its 4-star status. It's about time management acted to refurbish the place - I was told by the desk that head office were aware of this but that there were no current plans to close, which all adds to the sense of 'making hay while the sun shines'. That said, the rooms are of good size and comfortably appointed and the staff efficient.
